Petition To Seal Juvenile Records
Qualify For Either 1.... <or> 2 ....
1.....Detained when a juvenile & you became a Ward of the Court OR you had to see a probation officer
ELSE
2.....You were a Status Offender & you had to have been tried in a Juvenile Court, be at least eighteen years old to file this petition & can not have been found guilty of any serious crime { Status Offenses has to do with truancy - curfew - failure to obey parents - et cetera }
PLUS
A..
You can not have been found guilty of any crime since this case was over
B..
You can not be going to court on any criminal case
C..
You can not have a civil suit pending regarding the case you wish to seal
D.. You must show that you have been rehabilitated
{ ask your probation officer, if you had one, to give you a ' certificate
of rehabilitation ' and if possible, obtain a copy of your psychiatric medical records.
Documents will be processed with your petition }

Your juvenile record will be sealed
A sealed delinquent criminal record is totally destroyed on your thirty eighth birthday
No record will exist that will show that this incident ever occurred
You may deny the fact that you even had the record sealed
You will not be required to register any longer
You will not be required to inform employer or future employers of the arrest or
conviction
